Emmett Technique

Emmett Technique

Emmett Technique was developed by Ross Emmett. Ross has been a qualified instructor of Therapeutic Massage Therapy since 1983 and was a senior instructor of Bowen Therapy for 8 years (1997-2006). Ross is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, Bowen Therapist and Instructor. He also has qualifications in Trigger Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Clinical Hypnotherapy. However, Ross’ qualifications do not adequately reflect his ability as a practitioner. His training and observation skills helped him to develop Emmett Technique and produces outstanding results.

The Emmett Technique involves the application of light pressure at particular points on the body. These are done in a sequence that enables the gentle physical release of muscle groups that desensitise these areas and unlock muscle memory. This activation gives the brain the opportunity to re-evaluate the neuromuscular problem for the client.

The treatment can be done fully clothed and is very relaxing. The technique can be used as an effective adjunct to enhance the treatment value of other types of muscle release and neuro-musculoskeletal therapy or may be used as an effective therapy on its own.

The integration of the Emmett Technique and Bowen Therapy allows you to discover a faster way to ease pain and improve your treatment with results you may not have achieved before. This combination of the therapies is adapted to the clients’ needs and is result-driven. It is not procedure based, relying on a 5-7 day wait period for possible results.
